There are cases where you want to interface with the outside world through
switches/sensors or control low voltage items. Animated Lighting offers
ways to connect to the devices. We typically don't recommend this to the
non-professional because you need to understand electricity and electronics
well.
Digital Inputs
Animated Lighting’s Digital Input Controller (EDI16) is used for
checking the status of different types of digital sensor devices such as motion
sensors, infrared detectors, mat switches, push buttons, etc. The DI16
Controller can also be used as a stand alone unit or part of an Animated
Lighting network.
16 channel input board that ships with two 6-pin input connectors and a Polycarbonate/ABS enclosure.
Digital Outputs
Animated Lighting’s Digital Output Controller (EDO32) is used
for controlling different types of low power digital devices such as relays,
solenoids, LEDs, etc. The DO32 Controller can also be used as a stand
alone unit or, like the EDI16) be part of an Animated Lighting network.
32 channel output board that ships with two 8-pin output connectors. Polycarbonate/ABS plastic enclosure.
