The giant star is illuminated with the latest generation LEDs.  What makes LED based lights  better?  If you have not visited the LED light string section on our web site, you will learn that there are significant advantages of these lights vs. standard incandescent bulbs (up to 100,000 hour life, 1/10 the power of incandescent bulbs, pure colors that don't fade, virtually vandal-proof, one year warranty, if one bulb fails the rest of the bulbs continue to light, etc).
