Animated Lighting just completed a lighting project with more than 72,000 lighting channels! We worked with VitalSigns Unlimited to animate a dynamic new sign for the Ameristar Casino Corporation’s location in Council Bluffs, Iowa.
Our Stars and Snowflakes have been a very popular member of our Just Add Power family of products. They are fun to put on houses and commercial buildings (parking garages, entrances to buildings, etc). They will work with our Christmas In a Box package and dance to the songs that you have in your show.
Our 3D Star has been very popular as it is unique in its design. Here is an informal picture of this star stored in one of our warehouses (no lights attached). When we first introduced this product several years ago we attached standard LED light strings to this (one or two colors) and this star would have either Qty. 6 or Qty. 12 lighting channels.
Delta Sonic Car Wash is one of the largest chains of car washes in the United States with 28 current locations in New York, Illinois and Pennslyvania. Their senior management is very interested in making their car wash locations into a “destination” (so people will want to come to visit) plus also be a charitable member of the communities where they are located.
Animated Lighting was approached about the possibility of making their car washes more fun both at Christmas but also year-round. Delta Sonic decided to start with their Naperville, IL location and see what the response might be.
Downtown Kansas City, MO, is located at the intersection of Interstate 35 and Interstate 70. There are several landmark buildings that you see when you are entering the downtown portion of this city. When you are heading north on Interstate 35 and just entering downtown you see very clearly the Argus Building. The owners of the Argus Building wanted lighting that would be dynamic, attract attention and can have lighting effects that are based on the time of year.
Our Haunted House in a Box package is extremely popular. Sales have grown dramatically with this package as the interest in an exciting and fun Halloween display has grown over the past few years. For those of you who are not familiar with this package, here is some introductory information:
I’ve been writing lately about how we pull together large holiday displays for our customers at Animated Lighting. I thought I’d include our work at the Christmas On Ice event in Madison, MS, as the latest entry in this series.
One of the largest music festivals in the United States is Bonnaroo in Manchester, TN.
2013 represented the 12th year of this festival where more than 100 bands of various genres play during four days and nights. An estimated 150,000 people attended Bonnaroo in 2013.
Animated Lighting was approached by a lighting designer to provide some ideas and suggestions to add some fun and excitement to the Bonnaroo Barn:

In recent years, we have seen decorating with lights expand from the traditional Christmas season to other times of year, especially at Halloween. So while I realize it’s early March at the time of this writing, it never is too early to start planning and budgeting for a lighting display.
